Cast Stone International (“Cast Stone International,” “CSI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants certain of its cast stone products against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms, limitations, and exclusions set forth below.
This Limited Warranty is intended to provide clear guidance regarding what is and is not covered and reflects the nature of handcrafted architectural cast stone products.
This Limited Warranty applies only to cast stone products manufactured by Cast Stone International and purchased directly from CSI or from an authorized CSI distributor.
This Warranty applies solely to manufacturing defects and does not constitute a performance guarantee, design warranty, or installation warranty.
A. Residential Use Warranty
For products purchased for residential use, Cast Stone International warrants that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance for a period of:
One (1) year from the original date of delivery or pickup (the “Residential Warranty Period”).
Definition – Residential Use: “Residential use” means private, non-commercial use of the product in or around a personal residence, including homes, yards, gardens, courtyards, and similar settings.
B. Commercial & Architectural Use Warranty
For products purchased for commercial, institutional, or multi-family projects, Cast Stone International warrants that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery and for a period of:
One (1) year from the date of delivery (the “Commercial Warranty Period”).
Definition – Commercial Use: “Commercial use” includes, but is not limited to, products installed in public spaces, mixed-use developments, hospitality projects, multi-family buildings, retail centers, offices, institutional facilities, government projects, or any application subject to increased traffic, exposure, or load.
This Warranty covers manufacturing defects only, meaning defects that:
All Cast Stone International products are handcrafted architectural materials.
As such, the following are normal and expected characteristics and are not considered defects:
These characteristics are inherent to cast stone products and contribute to their architectural authenticity.
This Warranty does not cover, without limitation:
A. Installation & Handling
B. Environmental & External Factors
C. Use & Maintenance
D. Third-Party Components
To maintain warranty eligibility, the purchaser is responsible for:
Failure to meet these responsibilities may void this Warranty.
This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. Warranty coverage terminates upon resale, transfer, or reassignment of the product.

All warranty claims must be submitted within thirty (30) days of discovery of the alleged defect and within the applicable Warranty Period.

If CSI determines, in its sole discretion, that a product has a covered manufacturing defect during the applicable Warranty Period, CSI will, at its option:

This Warranty does not cover:
All such costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties.
Any implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the applicable Warranty Period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cast Stone International shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, project delays, or damage to other property.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. In such states, these limitations may not apply. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.
